INTRODUCTION:

It is a type of steroid that relieves the symptoms of allergic rhinitis such as runny nose, sneezing and sinus discomfort. It works by blocking the production of certain chemical messengers that involves in causing of inflammation (swelling) and allergies, thus relieving the discomfort and irritation in your nose.

You should to use as advised by your doctor but to get the full benefit you should take it on regularly basis. It may take a few days for the spray to take full effect and If you do not see an improvement in your symptoms after a week you should talk to your doctor or health care professional.

Before starting to use this medicine you should to tell your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Please discuss the risks and benefits with your healthcare professionals. If you use this medicine for a longer time, your doctor may want to carry out certain medical tests during the duration of treatment to check your progress.

Uses:

Avamys Nasal Spray is used for the treatment, control, prevention, and improvement of the following diseases, conditions and symptoms:

  1. Asthma in patients of 12 years and above.
  2. Sneezing and runny nose due to allergies
  3. Avamys Nasal Spray may also be used for purposes that not listed here.

SIDE EFFECTS OF AVAMYS NASAL SPRAY:

Most side effects do not require any medical attention and disappear as your body adjusts to the medicine but please consult your doctor if they persist or if you’re worried about them.

  • Nosebleeds
  • Headache
  • Nasal inflammation
  • Nasopharyngitis
  • Bronchitis
  • Sinusitis
  • Toothache
  • Gastroenteritis
  • Oral candidiasis
  • Avamys Nasal Spray may also cause side-effects which is not listed here.

HOW TO USE AVAMYS NASAL SPRAY:

  • Use this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor or healthcare professionals .
  • Check the label for directions before use after that Insert the bottle nozzle into one nostril and close the other nostril and direct the spray towards the sides of your nostril and away from the cartilage that is dividing the two sides of your nose.
  • After spray, breath gently and keep the head upright and repeat the same process for the other nostrils.

HOW AVAMYS NASAL SPRAY WORKS:

This spray blocks the production of chemical messengers that are the cause of allergies and inflammation (swelling and redness).

Precautions:

Before using this Nasal Spray, inform to your doctor about your current list of medications, over the counter products (vitamins, herbal supplements, etc.), allergies, any pre-existing diseases, and current health conditions like pregnancy, upcoming surgery, etc. Some of your health conditions may make you more susceptible to the side-effects of the drug so please take as directed by your doctor or follow the direction printed on the product insert.

When not to use Avamys Nasal Spray:

Avamys Nasal Spray should not be used if you have the following conditions like:

  1. status asthmaticus
  2. Hypersensitivity
