Introduction

CCM Tablet is manufactured by GlaxoSmithKleine Pharmaceuticals Limited. It is used to treat and prevent vitamin D and calcium deficiency in the elderly. This tablet is highly soluble in water and also offers highly bioavailable calcium. The role of calcium in the body is very important. If there is lower calcium level in the blood, the body starts taking calcium from the bones, thereby weakening bones. This tablet helps to maintain the bone structure. This medicine is also used to treat osteoporosis patients who are at risk of vitamin D and calcium deficiency.

Ingredients:

• Calcium citrate Malate

• Cholecalciferol ( Vitamin D3 )

• Folic acid

Mechanism Of Action:

CCM Tablet is highly soluble in water and also offers highly bioavailable calcium. It works by slowing down the process of old bone growth, which provide the bone forming cells.

Uses:

• Increases calcium absorption and strengthen bones

Pregnancy – This tablet is known to be safe during pregnancy. Pregnant woman should not use a daily dose of more than 1500 mg of calcium and 600 I.U. Vitamin D3.

Alcohol – Try to limit drinking alcohol with this tablet. Consumption of alcohol may cause bone weakness.
