Introduction

Alulom Vilom Prayanam is a type of controlled breathing practice in yoga. This breathing is done by closing one nostril and inhale with other nostril then, closing the alternate nostril and exhale with other. This process is repeated and reversed for minimum 3-5 minutes, then stop for few seconds, then further repeat as much time you want in an interval of 3-5 minutes. 

The positive point of yoga and meditation is that there are no side effects of doing yoga. In other exercise methods like gymming there may be you go through some side effects when you stop doing workout at gym like putting up weight, no control on fried, sweet and salty food. These side effect can’t be seen if stop doing yoga for a long time too.

Nowadays people are becoming more conscious about their physical, mental as well as emotional health. In earlier time our lifestyle was appropriate for our health but now changed. Earlier proper balanced diet, yoga, exercise sleep time and working hours was fixed. But now it’s totally changed. Therefore people are suffering from more diseases. There are many benefits of doing daily anulom-vilom pranayam. It will be very beneficial if we start our day with pranayam. But if we get time in evening, one can do yoga in evening also. There are no side effects of doing yoga at this time also. It make us feel relaxed and helps us for better sleep.
